This lovely bear is called Wilbur and he is an example of a memory bear – handmade from items of clothing, blankets or other material personal to someone who has died.  This makes memory bears incredible special and can be very consoling for young and old alike.  It is also possible to create blankets and cushions.

Memory bears are one way to support continued bonds with someone after they have died.
