National Grief Awareness Week is 2nd – 8th December 2020
There are a number of events being hosted in our local area during National Grief Awareness Week 2020. Raising awareness about grief, encouraging people to share their story and supporting conversations about grief is an important way to support the wellbeing of every bereaved person.

Live, interactive webinar to create a Christmas memory bauble
Wednesday 2nd December 2020 1pm – 2.30pm
A virtual video-storytelling event to watch a set of video-stories made in 2020 by storytellers on the ‘Life, Loss, Learning and Legacy’ Project, that share and explore experiences of loss, grief and the learning.
Wednesday 2nd December 2020 5pm – 6.30pm
Full Circle Funerals online bereavement support group – a safe space to listen and talk (everyone is welcome)
Thursday 3rd December 2020 11am – 1pm: Adapting to deliver virtual funeral and bereavement support – online training for professionals hosted by Leeds Bereavement Forum and sponsored by Full Circle Funerals
Thursday 3rd December 2020 7.30pm – 8.30pm
Swan Song Project singing group hosts an online, free space to breath, relax and sing from the comfort of your own living room. This is a weekly group and everyone is welcome.
