Our new funeral service in Ilkley opened in May 2023 . We have been supporting people from Ilkley, Addingham and Burley in Wharfedale from our service in Guiseley for many years and our new funeral directors in Ilkley means that you have more choice about where you would like to meet with us.
We have been funeral directors since 2016 and everyone in our small team has a professional background in health, social or pastoral care. We hold the award for the “Best Modern Funeral Director” in the national Good Funeral Awards because we work hard to deliver person-centred support, making sure that you are at the centre of everything that we do.
Full Circle were wonderful when my mum passed away. The funeral was lovely. She had a wicker coffin decorated with flowers. They were so kind and supportive to my elderly dad and all the family.

Where services can be held
Our service is located close to Skipton Crematorium. Slightly further afield are Rawdon and Lawnswood Crematorium or Stonefall Crematorium in Harrogate.
Ilkley is fortunate to have its own beautiful cemetery. The closest Natural Burial Grounds to Ilkley is Tarn Moor Burial Ground in Skipton and Brocklands Woodland Burial Ground in Settle.
In addition, less traditional locations to hold funeral gatherings include Ilkley Golf Club, Ilkley Rugby Club and Clevedon House.
Other local services and suppliers
Local independent florists include Erica Berry, Yorkshire Flower Academy in Burley in Wharfedale and The Plantation in Addingham.
Helpfully, there are several Wills and Probate solicitors who are based in the Ilkley area and could provide support, should you need it. These include Walker Foster Solicitors, Blacks Ilkley and Newstead and Walker in Otley.
People in the Ilkley area also benefit from support from several voluntary agencies such as Ilkley Good Neighbours and the U3A.
Whilst there were choices which had to be made at each stage of the process these were made as easy as possible, rechecked regularly and I was able to change my mind and do something different if I felt the need to do so. Read more
I was very pleased for the coffin Full Circle found for my mother; it was a joy to look at and i gave me a great deal of comfort during the service to know it was exactly what she would have chosen herself. It was easy to communicate with David both by phone and email. He made sure I was fully aware of what was going on at all times and offered help with the florist and celebrant, liaising with them to make sure things went smoothly and removing the burden and worry. The whole process was comforting and as stress-free as it could be. The added complication of the coronavirus outbreak was carefully managed and did not impact as much as it could on the whole process. I was very impressed with the eco credentials of Full Circle. The Ecohearse is amazing – clearly a hearse but without being austere(?). Also very grateful for the tree dedication with Make It Wild.

I had googled ‘Direct Cremations’ and although most were cheaper than Full Circle, none offered the level of service that we received. Lucy became a friend to Wendy. She even encouraged her to eat. Nothing was too much trouble. When Wendy died, I didn’t need the same level of support but the service was wonderful. I would recommend Full Circle to anyone.
