We made the Stray Ferret Award finals

Full Circle Funerals and our founder Sarah Jones have each been shortlisted for awards in this year’s Stray Ferret Awards.

As an organisation, our journey to achieving B Corp status and becoming the first UK funeral director to do so has helped us make the finals in the Sustainable Business category. As a company we are committed not only to making sure our own impact on the environment is kept to a minimum but also that we make it easy for people to choose environmentally friendly funeral options, if that is important to them.

We are actively working to enable people to become better informed about the sustainability of funeral choices and recently ran a successful £20,000 Crowdfunding campaign to collate new data to help people make planet friendly choices about what will happen to them when they die.

As well as our success in the sustainability category, Full Circle Funerals founder Sarah Jones has been shortlisted in the Dynamic Leader category for her role as a speaker, campaigner, researcher, author, business leader and mentor. Sarah has led ground-breaking research that aims to support positive change within funeral care and is a regular speaker and influencer on the subject of “business for good”.

We are looking forward to the awards night and meeting the other incredible businesses that have been shortlisted.
