We opened our first funeral service in Guiseley in September 2016 and from here we have supported people many families living in Menston. In the past, people always used the funeral director in their home town or village but people now seem to travel a little further to find a service that they like. We recognise that people have different amounts of experience in arranging a funeral and that every individual and family has their own ideas, concerns and expectations. We work hard to tailor the tone and style of our support to respond to what people want and need from us.
We believe that how a place looks and feels has a big impact on our experience. We were determined to create a funeral service that feels friendly, calm and peaceful so that you feel comfortable spending time there. We have a number of rooms that can be used to discuss your funeral choices with you and two rooms where you can spend time with the person who has died, if you wish. If you decide that burial is more appropriate then there are a number of options to consider in the Menston area. Menston Cemetery is full but Ilkley Cemetery, Tarn Moor Natural Burial Ground and Brocklands Woodland Burial Ground are all easily accessible from Menston for those willing to travel.
Menston has a friendly and active church community including Menston Methodist Church, St John Fisher and St Thomas More Roman Catholic Church and St John’s Church.
